Kate Middleton/Duchess Catherine attended a gala dinner in aid of Action on Addiction yesterday in the most dramatic smoky eye makeup we've seen her wear to date.
Unfortunately, the pictures are terrible.
They give only a hint of what was going on with her eyes. You can see it a bit more clearly in this video from the Daily Mail, but even that doesn't really get in close on it. But you can tell it's much smokier than the usual bit of gray eyeliner she wears.
Basically, we don't have good-enough photos to get a clear sense of the detail, but it shows us enough to know that Kate can vamp it up when she wants to. Not surprising, right?
